I'm originally from San Antonio, Texas and now make my home in Pflugerville, Texas. I'm a military veteran, having served in the United States Air Force. I've attended Park University and Texas A&M Corpus Christi.I am currently employed as a k-12 teacher in the Pflugerville Independent School District, a position I have held for three years. My work has me focusing on students who have been identified as being "at risk." This experience has allowed me to work with pupils who demonstrate a variety of learning styles.Before starting to work as a teacher, I was a volunteer GED instructor for 24 months. I also worked as a Technical Instructor for two years while serving with the Air Force.The qualities that I feel make me an excellent tutor are that I am a very pleasant person who makes a point of developing lessons that are relevant to a student's personal experience. I am also very determined, punctual, and well organized.I'm available to tutor students who need help in Algebra 1, Statistics, STAAR, American History, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Summer Tutoring, GED, Pre-Algebra, Geography, Macroeconomics, Business, and more.When I'm not at work, my hobbies are carpentry and exercising. I also enjoy spending time out of doors.
