I love working with children and have a desire to see them flourish. After I received my bachelor's degree, I went into the field of elementary education and pursued my teaching certificate. I am now a certified teacher (EC-6 Generalist and ESL Supplemental). I started my educational career tutoring for Bryan ISD and College Station ISD. The following spring semester, a local elementary school hired me as a full-time tutor. I taught 3rd, 4th and 5th graders. My focus was in math but I also tutored writing and reading. I then completed a clinical internship teaching a 1st/2nd grade combo class. Since then, I have taught 1st grade (all subjects) and 4th grade (Reading/Writing). I am anxious to see how I can help your student succeed!!
